Sonnmatt Lucerne has several restaurants. The Pilatus and Rigi restaurants are in the main building, while Panorama is in the Residence. All of the restaurants are open to the public. Head Chef Christian Engelmann indulges guests by developing fresh, creative menus.

Pilatus restaurant

The Pilatus restaurant, which was built and has been renovated in an Art Nouveau style, offers fresh menus that change daily and a seasonal à la carte menu. Head Chef Christian Engelmann uses market-fresh produce, which delights hotel guests and visitors alike.

Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Lunch from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Dinner from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Panorama restaurant

The residence's restaurant is open to everyone. Guests can enjoy magnificent views of the mountains and Lake Lucerne from the terrace. Lunch is served on weekdays, and on Sundays there is a selection of 5-course lunch menus.

Rigi restaurant

The Rigi restaurant is a popular meeting place for coffee and cake, a snack or an aperitif. The “Rigi” has the benefit that it is right next to the busy hotel lobby. It is the place to see and be seen. And in summer, a gorgeous terrace beckons.

We visited this spa hotel restaurant while visiting my mother-in-law, who was recovering there after an operation. The location is excellent and the restaurant is very nice. From the outset, the service was very friendly and professional. The food was a delight from start to finish. This is a restaurant that can only be recommended.
